Your rent matters. This is a large part of what enables OCH to maintain your housing. To give you a sense of the importance, OCH relies on rent revenues for more than half of its annual operating budget. Rent is due on or before the 1st day of each month. Any payment received by OCH after the first day of the month is late. Cash is NOT ACCEPTED at any OCH OfficeHOW DO I PAY MY RENT?1. Preauthorized Payment Plan (PAP)If you have a bank account, your rent can be taken from your bank account automatically on the 1st day of the month. Over 55% of OCH tenants take advantage of this simple and easy way to pay their rent. 2. Cheque or Money OrderCheques and Money Orders are payable at your Tenant Service Centre or at the OCH Head Office on 39 Auriga Drive. If you pay by mail, please include your Name, Address, Tenant ID#, and Phone Number on your cheque or money order. 3. InteracAvailable at your Tenant Service Centre (not at Head Office). 4. Any Bank in OttawaTake the payment slip from OCH that you have received in the mail to any bank to pay. You dont need to have an account at that bank to pay rent this way. If you would like to receive payment slips contact your District office. 5. Electronic PaymentElectronic Payment is done by phone, ATM (bank machine) or internet. This is a very convenient way to pay your rent. If you are going to have a problem paying your rent on time, call your Rent Collection Coordinator immediately:
